Plan social media posts from Codex

Let Codex read your Fydioo calendar and draft or schedule social media posts while you work, with one command and a sign-in.

Last updated 9 Oct 2026

What you need

  • A Fydioo account in which you are an owner or a manager. A contractor's assistant can write drafts only.
  • Codex: the command line, the editor extension or the app.
  • The channels you want to post to, already connected in Fydioo.

Connect Fydioo to Codex

  1. 1

Add Fydioo to Codex with the command below. Codex keeps it in its settings, so every session can use it.

  2. 2

Sign in with the second command: Codex opens Fydioo, where you pick the account and what Codex may do.

  3. 3

Ask Codex about your calendar or to draft posts. In a script where nobody can sign in, use an API key instead.

What to ask Codex

Talk to it the way you would to a colleague who has your calendar open. A few that work well:

You ask
Plan three LinkedIn posts for next week and save them as drafts.
You ask
Move Thursday's Instagram post to Friday at 9:00.
You ask
What went out yesterday, and did anything fail?
You ask
Write an Arabic version of today's post for our Facebook Page.

What Codex can and cannot do

It can

  • Read your companies, channels and calendar
  • Write drafts, with a different text per network
  • Schedule and reschedule, if you allowed it
  • Tell you what was published and what failed

It cannot

  • See companies outside your own access
  • Change members, billing or connected networks
  • Publish without approval, unless your account allows it
  • Keep access after you disconnect it

Questions

Will Codex post without asking me?

Not by default. Its posts wait in your Queue until someone approves them. It can schedule directly only if you allowed that when you connected it and your account's owner allows it.

Does it cost anything extra?

Reading is included. Posts Codex creates count toward the monthly allowance of posts by assistants and the API on your plan.

How do I disconnect Codex?

In Fydioo, open Account, then AI & API, then Connected assistants, and disconnect it. Its access ends at once.

Not on Fydioo yet?

Request access, connect your networks, then connect Codex in a minute.
