What an AI assistant may do in Fydioo

What Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant connected to Fydioo can see and do, how approval works, and how to take access away.

It acts as you

An assistant connected to Fydioo works as the person who connected it. It sees the companies and channels that person sees, and never does more than their role allows: a contractor's assistant can write drafts but never schedule.

You choose what it may do

When you connect it, Fydioo asks what the assistant may do. You can narrow this later under Account, AI & API.

  • Read: companies, channels, the calendar and how each post went.
  • Write drafts: posts that wait in the Queue for a person to approve.
  • Schedule directly: posts go on the calendar at the time it sets, when the account allows it.

A person approves first

By default every post an assistant or an API key gives a time waits under Queue, Awaiting approval. An owner or a manager approves it as written, edits it first, or discards it. TikTok posts always wait, because TikTok asks for a person to choose the audience and settings. The account's owner decides whether approval is needed and who may give it.

What it can never do

Some things stay with people, whatever an assistant is allowed:

  • Change members, roles, billing or the account's settings.
  • Connect or disconnect social networks.
  • See another account, or a company outside its access.
  • Approve its own posts.

Taking access away

Disconnect an assistant under Account, AI & API, and its access ends with its next request. Removing a person from the account, or changing their role, applies to their assistants at once too. Every post an assistant writes is marked with its name.
