Use Fydioo with Perplexity
Add Fydioo to Perplexity as a custom connector, then ask about your calendar or turn research into draft social media posts.

What you need
- A Fydioo account in which you are an owner or a manager. A contractor's assistant can write drafts only.
- Perplexity on a plan that allows custom connectors.
- The channels you want to post to, already connected in Fydioo.
Connect Fydioo to Perplexity

In Perplexity, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the connection address below.

Perplexity opens Fydioo. Sign in, pick the account and the companies, and choose what Perplexity may do.

Turn the connector on for a search, then ask it to draft posts from what it found.

What to ask Perplexity
Talk to it the way you would to a colleague who has your calendar open. A few that work well:
Plan three LinkedIn posts for next week and save them as drafts.
Move Thursday's Instagram post to Friday at 9:00.
What went out yesterday, and did anything fail?
Write an Arabic version of today's post for our Facebook Page.
What Perplexity can and cannot do
It can
- Read your companies, channels and calendar
- Write drafts, with a different text per network
- Schedule and reschedule, if you allowed it
- Tell you what was published and what failed
It cannot
- See companies outside your own access
- Change members, billing or connected networks
- Publish without approval, unless your account allows it
- Keep access after you disconnect it
Questions
Will Perplexity post without asking me?
Not by default. Its posts wait in your Queue until someone approves them. It can schedule directly only if you allowed that when you connected it and your account's owner allows it.
Does it cost anything extra?
Reading is included. Posts Perplexity creates count toward the monthly allowance of posts by assistants and the API on your plan.
How do I disconnect Perplexity?
In Fydioo, open Account, then AI & API, then Connected assistants, and disconnect it. Its access ends at once.
